Malala Yousafzai

This young girl was recently shot by the Taliban because she wanted an education and decided to go to school.  This is the beginning of the painting I am working on this week.  It is painted in oils and is on a linean canvass.

This is a small painting I did of my great neice Danyela.  I found a piture of an ancient Armenian Cross and added it to the painting to repeat the circles giving the painting a sense of rythm.  The size is 8x10 and it painted in oils on canvas
